GENERAL TERMS OF PURCHASE
These Terms of Purchase define the rules governing sales transactions through the online store of the National Theatre in Belgrade. They outline the rights and obligations of both the National Theatre and the Buyer, as well as the consequences of non-compliance. The National Theatre in Belgrade reserves the right to amend these terms in accordance with legal regulations and changes in its offerings. Buyers are encouraged to review the Terms of Purchase before each transaction.
The online store of the National Theatre in Belgrade accepts ticket payments via VISA, MasterCard, and DinaCard, provided that the issuing bank has authorized the card for online payments. If you are uncertain whether your card supports online transactions, please verify this with your bank. Only cards issued in the Buyer’s country of residence are accepted. Funds are reserved in the Buyer’s account during order creation, but the account is charged only after the ticket purchase is finalized.
On the Buyer’s bank statement, the transaction will appear under Chip Card a.d., the company responsible for processing online payments.To purchase tickets through the National Theatre’s online store, Buyers must first register and log into the system.
The ticket ordering and payment process is limited to 30 minutes from the selection of the last ticket. A maximum of six tickets may be purchased per transaction. If the Buyer fails to complete the payment within the allotted time, the order will be automatically canceled.
The ticket price is guaranteed at the time of purchase, regardless of any subsequent price adjustments before ticket issuance or the performance date.In the event of a transaction error (e.g., internet connection failure or credit card processor unavailability), the Buyer’s account will not be charged.
Buyers can track their purchase status via email confirmation or by logging into their National Theatre online account.The National Theatre ensures the confidentiality of payment data processed by Chip Card a.d., Belgrade, Bose Milićević 8, PIB 103425560, MB 17564374, which acts as an intermediary for cashless payments.
TICKET COLLECTION
Purchased tickets must be collected from the National Theatre Ticketing Office no later than 15 minutes before the performance begins. If the Buyer fails to collect the tickets by this deadline, the National Theatre reserves the right to retain the full amount paid, with no right to a refund, except in cases specified under the Complaints Procedure.
The Buyer must present a confirmation code received via email upon completing the ticket purchase. This code can also be accessed from the Buyer’s online theatre profile under the “My Purchases” section.
COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE
Complaints may be submitted under the following circumstances:
- The Buyer submits a written complaint to the National Theatre in Belgrade at least 48 hours before the scheduled performance.
- The financial institution that issued the payment card submits a transaction-related inquiry to Chip Card a.d.
If Chip Card a.d. approves the complaint, the full amount will be refunded to the Buyer via VISA, MasterCard, or Maestro within eight (8) days.
In cases where the complaint is approved, all associated costs are covered by the National Theatre’s online sales service, and the Buyer is not liable for any additional fees.
Refunds in approved cases will be processed exclusively through VISA, EC/MC, and Maestro payment methods.
REFUND POLICY
Refunds may be issued under the following conditions:
- If the Buyer, the National Theatre online store, or Chip Card a.d. cancels a transaction at least 48 hours before the scheduled performance, the Buyer may be eligible for a refund.
- If a technical issue with the banking system causes the cancellation, the full amount will be refunded to the Buyer within eight (8) days.
- If the refund is requested for any other reason not related to banking system issues, an applicable processing fee may be deducted.
- If a performance is canceled, the full amount will be refunded to the Buyer within eight (8) days.
All refunds are processed exclusively via VISA, EC/MC, and Maestro payment methods. This means that the refund will be credited directly to the cardholder’s account by the issuing bank upon request from the National Theatre.
DATA PRIVACY STATEMENT
The National Theatre in Belgrade is committed to protecting the privacy of all customers. Only essential personal data is collected for business operations and customer communication, in accordance with industry best practices and data protection regulations. All customer information is strictly confidential and accessible only to authorized employees.
During online transactions, credit card details are entered on a secure bank page. The security of payment data is ensured by the payment processor, which handles the transaction independently. At no point does the National Theatre in Belgrade or Chip Card a.d. have access to the Buyer’s payment card details.
DATA SECURITY DURING TRANSACTIONS
All payment card information is transmitted over the public network in encrypted form, utilizing SSL protocol and PKI system encryption, which are among the most advanced security technologies available.
The security of purchase data is guaranteed by the payment processor, Banca Intesa ad Beograd, meaning the entire payment process takes place on the bank’s secure platform. At no time are credit card details accessible to the National Theatre’s system.

NATIONAL THEATRE TICKETING OFFICE HOURS
- Monday to Saturday: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM – until the start of the performance.
- Sunday: 5:00 PM – until the start of the performance.
TICKET RESERVATIONS
Reservations cannot be made in person or by phone at the National Theatre Ticketing Office. Reservations are available exclusively for group bookings.
GROUP BOOKING DISCOUNTS
The National Theatre in Belgrade offers special discounts for group bookings by educational institutions and corporate clients:
- 20% discount for group ticket purchases.
- Minimum purchase: 20 tickets per order.
- Discount applies to seats in the II and III gallery of the Main Stage and all tickets for the “Raša Plaović” Stage, excluding the following performances: Balkan Spy, The Little Things That Matter, Childhood Injuries, Tears Are OK, The Hypochondriac, Death Is Not a Bicycle, and The Stubborn Mule.
- The discount does not apply to premieres, guest performances, or special events.
- Prior reservation is required via email at gdragicevic@narodnopozoriste.rs.
PAYMENT METHODS
- Cash or credit card at the National Theatre Ticketing Office.
- Deferred payment via a proforma invoice issued by the National Theatre upon request.
- Online payment via credit cards (Dina, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro).
