Dubravka Filipović
Dubravka Filipovic, mezzo-soprano, was born in Belgrade in 1960.
She graduated the Flute studies from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade and became the solo flutist of the Opera Orchestra of the National Theatre.
While still a member of the orchestra she began studying singing first with Branka Kambaskovic and later with Djurdjevka Cakarevic.
Her debut was in the opera “Evgeny Onegin”, and after that she performed in “The Barber of Seville”, “Faust”, “Rigoletto”, and many others.
As Madame Thenardier, she sang in the musical “Les Miserables” in Madlenianum – Opera & Theatre.
