Dejan Maksimović
Serbian-born tenor Dejan Maksimovic obtained a faculty degree at the Belgrade Faculty of Music. During his studies he made his debut as Bastien in Mozart’s Bastien and Bastiene (1996) and soon after as Count Almaviva in Il Barbiere di Siviglia in Belgrade National Theater.
He won first prizes at all Serbian national competitions for singers during his studies. From 2005. he improves his singing with prof. Rita Susovsky.
His opera activities include Don Ramiro ( La Cenerentola), Paolino (Il matrimonio segretto), Lenski (Eugene Onegin ), Count of Mantua (Rigoletto), Rodolfo (La Boheme ), Faust (Faust), Tamino (The Magic Flute), Nemorino (L’elisir d’amore), Alfredo (La Traviata), Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni), Prince (Love for three oranges), Ernesto (Don Pasquale), Prince Vladimir (Prince Igor), Ferrando (Cosi fan tutte), Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly), Hoffmann (Les contes d'Hoffmann), Werther (Werther).
He performed as soloist in many vocal&instrumental pieces with Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestra Simfonica di Roma, Rheinische Philharmonie, Symphony Orchestra of Serbian RTV, Symphony Orchestra of RTV Slovenia, Mozart's Requiem and cantata Maurerfreude, Rossini's Stabat Mater, Haydn's Missa in tempore belli C major and Die Jahreszeiten , Dvorak's Requiem, Orff's Carmina burana.
He collaborated with conductors such as Mladen Jagušt, Uroš Lajovic, Alberto Hold-Garrido, Silvio Barbato, Dieter Rossberg, Peter Feranec, Dorian Wilson.
As a soloist he has performed in Germany, Slovenia, Italy, Greece, Great Britain, Hungary, Canada, Denmark and China. He regularly sings recitals.
