Anđela Đaković
Born in 1973 in Belgrade. She graduated from the "Lujo Davičo" Ballet High School in 1991. In 1989, she participated in the play "Oresteia" performing the role of Apollo’s principal muse, which was performed at the grand opening of the renovated National Theatre. In her senior year, she participated in the ballet "Giselle" at the National Theatre. During her school years, she won the first prizes at the national and Yugoslav ballet competitions for that age. Since 1991, she has officially become a member of the Ballet ensemble of the National Theatre in Belgrade, where in the same season she went from being a member of the ensemble, through solo roles, to getting her first role in the "Swan Lake" choreographed by Dimitrije Parlić. She spent the 1993/1994 season undergoing professional training at the Taras Shevchenko Ballet Theatre in Kiev, the Ukraine. In 1995, she finished active dancing, after which she participated in the mise-en-scène roles of the current ballet repertoire of the National Theatre in Belgrade.
